I bow down to the three pairs:
Rupa and Sanatan,
the two Raghunaths,
and to Sri Jiva and Gopala Bhatta.

Always engaged in singing and dancing and doing Krishna kirtan
oceans of the ambrosia of love,
dear to both the wise and foolish, pleasing to all
without envy for any and honored by all,
carrying the full mercy of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
and removing the burden of the world:

Examining the various scriptures with great expertise
they establish the pure religious duty of the soul;
they engage in welfare work for all the three worlds;
honored and worthy of giving refuge,
intoxicated from the bliss of worshiping
Radha and Krishna's lotus feet...

In the regular glorification of Sri Gauranga's virtues
they are endowed with an ever increasing wealth of faith,
they cut away the sufferings of sins of all conditioned souls
through their chanting of the nectarean glories of Govinda,
they are the true experts in increasing the ocean of bliss
for they save the world from the liberation called solitude.

Giving up quickly the association of the most influential society,
considering them and worldly power to be insignificant,
becoming leaders of the humble with a vow of poverty
wearing only a loin cloth and rags.
Yet inwardly, they rise and fall on the waves of ecstasy
that play on the nectar ocean of the gopis' love.

The koils, swans and cranes filling the ether with their songs
Peacocks dancing throughout
the Vrindavan forest, which is thronged with trees
held in jewelled basins
day and night they worship the Divine Couple
joyfully bringing the supreme goal of life to all souls.

Counting off the number of names they chant, the times they bow,
they passed the time of day and night.
Conquering over sleep, hunger and movement
they still remained extremely humble
constantly enchanted by the sweet joys
of remmebering Radha and Krishna's glories,

On the shores of Radha Kund or on the banks of the Yamuna
or at Vamsi Vata, where the rasa lila took place,
in all kinds of states of extreme loving madness
they are possessed, intoxicated, indifferent to the world.
Sometimes while singing of Krishna's qualities
they are overcome by ecstatic love...

"Oh Radhe! O goddess of Vraja! Oh Lalite!
Oh son of Nanda Maharaj, where are you?
Are you at the foot of the desire trees in Govardhan,
or are you somewhere in the woods by the Yamuna?"
Calling out like this everywhere in Braja Mandal
with voices cracking with emotion...
